Ez pizzy in ruthless too soon as you got use to it, but not as easy as normal felt first, after the initial learning curve of couple tens hours. I had a bit of a rough start, my very first playthrough in normal/gm got his file corrupted at day 330 without other options than restart from scratch, which I did in ruthless/gm immediately cuz I already felt my first corrupted playthrough looked like too easy.Īnd there, I got it through without issue (no gk dead, 604days to complete it, etc) focusing on the lore and enjoying it a lot. So many comments during these last months saying « finished first campaign in normal: no GK died, no real struggle except a bit at start, etc ». In my xp, it’s mostly the first 20-30h of play where you struggle a bit.Īfter that, normal playthrough is kinda too easy. idk story missions are always the hardest part of the game and you can just put them off for quite some time until you have an unstoppable team of A listers to do it. bosses? what bosses? just 1 or two turn every boss in the game(except maybe one but the right team could probably 3 or 4 turn him) just like the bosses in xcom 2 and its dlcs. the game is mindnumbingly easy at this point. by the endgame however you are a professional hitsquad and the enemies stand no chance. your resources will always be on the cusp of what you need. you have to experament with what does and doesnt work. a bunch of new mechanics are thrown at you nonstop and wrapping your head around them all can be tough. this game is exactly like xcom in the way its difficulty works. Id say you should probably play it on standard at least. I'm still too early to tell, like 3 or 4 missions in. Possibly these complaints might be people who can't handle on easy/normal.
