![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Not the first time updates messed up my games in progress, either, and with the aforemention "dumbification" of Steam options I'm pretty twitchy any time a patch hits something I still play. Then the "stealthpatch" rendered that impossible (you can no longer set a game never to be updated because Steam knows better than I do what version of the game I want to play). Wave 3: Open box (replenish ammo) -> 2 rockets -> wait -> machine gun -> wait then kill remaining solders with lasers. Wave 2: 1 rocket + wait + machine when in range. Wave 1: 1 rocket + wait + machine when in range. I actually used that a lot by, formerly, copying the game folder out of Steamapps and running a lot of mods that Steam updates so love to mess around with. 1st quest: you defend an airlock and pressing the button activates the turrets. I guess the next batch of issues will have to do with inevitable OS incompatibility, but until then, I don't mind lack of updates.Īs an aside, I had one of the "micropatches" for Mount and Blade: Warband suddenly end up preventing me from launching the game outside of Steam altogether.
